What is the Champlain Rural Diabetes Chiropody Program?
The Champlain Diabetes Chiropody Program is an amputation prevention program for people 18 years and older living with diabetes having foot ulcers.
The program can be accessed through a referral by a health care provider.
Who is eligible?
Adults 18 years and over, living with diabetes and having the following foot conditions:
- Open wound/foot ulcer
- Typically for patients who have no 3rd party insurance
